Archimedes Bathtub

Yesterday, we got an odd call from Italy. A woman had come in possession of a large marble tub (perhaps a bathtub) that appeared to be very old. She said that she was first concerned when she decided to wash her dog in it, her dog would only float on the water and would not submerge for washing and rinsing at all. Then she decided to give it a try herself only to find that she also floated on top of the water!

We all immediately boarded a plane and set off to see this tub!

When we arrived, H stared at the tub a long time. he then rolled it on its side and exclaimed "Ah hah!"

Turning to the woman, he said "How much did you pay for this tub?"

"About 300 Euros."

"Madame, I will give you 500 for it." We all stared.....

On the plane back to Storehouse 27, H explained that an ancient Greek tub makers mark was on the bottom and that we were now possibly in possession of Archimedes' tub!
